Question about Luggage Allowance in China

  Does China require locked checked bags on all flights (international and within China)?

  For travel on United Airlines from San Francisco, California to Beijing, domestic China flights and return from Hong Kong to San Francisco, CA.......what is the requirement for locking checked bags? Can USA TSA recommended locks be used? Does China require locked checked bags on all flights (international and within China)? What about carry-on bags? Thank you

  not all the air companies require to lock the checked bags, but i suggest you to lock your bags for the consideration of safty.
  you don't need to lock the carry-on bags.
