  Is it safe to take a cab in Guilin after 9pm?

  Hi, my hotel offers to pick me up from airport for 250 yuan but based on my calculation, it shouldn't cost more than 70 yuan if I just take a cab from the airport, right?
  the thing is i'm alone (girl) and my flight will arrive in guilin at 9pm.
  how safe is it to take a cab (licensed one of course)??

• Wow, definitely you should take a cab by yourself. 250yuan is too expensive~ If you come here in summer, I think 9pm is not too late so safe enough. Maybe you share a taxi with other passengers together~

• A taxi between the airport and downtown Guilin should not cost any more than $100 Yuan (I took a taxi from the airport last week at about midnight and this is what it cost) - Use the taxi cue at the airport just outside the terminal. 100 yuan is pretty much the standard price leaving the airport. Sometimes when going from Guilin to the airport you might be able to get a taxi for 80 yuan.
