Question about Xian Attractions

  Is my time enough to experience the Terracotta Warriors?

  Thank you so much for all this information.
  
  I will be in Xian at the end of November. I am planning to travel overnight from Beijing, arriving early in Xian early in the morning to spend a full day there. I may leave Xian at 17:00 to take the overnight train to Shanghai.
  
  I have two questions:
  
  1. Do you think this is enough time to experience Xian (the terracotta warriors)? (08:30-17:00. There is another overnight train at 19:50)
  2. What are the facilities like at Xian train station? I require somewhere safe to store some valuables during the time I will be in the city.

• 1. If you just plan to visit the Terracotta Army, one day is OK. However, if you want to know a little more about Xi'an, I suggest you visit the City Wall, the Bell Tower, the Shannxi History Museum and the Wild Goose Pagoda.
  2. There is a luggage storing service provided at the Xi'an Train Station. But I am afraid that the staff working there might speak little English.
