  Do I need to get a JW form and a physical exam before I process my visa?

  Do I need to get a JW form and a physical exam before I process my visa when I'm only studying for 3-4 months in China?
  
  I know that what's written on the embassy's site all over, but has anyone processes a short term student F visa before?

• Applicants who want to study in China for less than six months are required to provide Foreign Student Visa Application Form (JW201 or JW202) issued by relevant Chinese government unit.
  a physical exam is required if you apply for a work visa or stay in China over 6 months.
