  What is the weather like in Hongkong in Aug?

  Hi, I'm planning to have a vacation at HK during August 2011. May I know about the weather during that time? Or should I visit during December will be more interesting? And I going for shopping purpose, any suggestion of market, places, and hotel? Thanks.

• Well, if for shopping, I think December especially around the Christmas Day, is much better, because the mild weather and the amazing discounts of shops. As for hotel, it is suggested that you find one located along the HK MTR, such as Tsim Sha Tsui, Kowloon, Mongkok, Yau Ma Tei.
  
  Lots of good places for shopping, for example, large plaza-the Harbour City, the City Gate and shops along the Nathan Road. For cosmetics, please go to SASA, Lung Shing Dispensary, Bonjour and DFS. Of course, please don't forget the Stanley market both for shopping and traveling.
