Is it legal to have two visa-free periods in a row by going to Macau?
Hi, i'm russian and eligible for the 2-week visa free period, though i want to stay in HK for one month (to travel to Macau and Shenzen) Is it legal to stay in HK 2 weeks get my visa-free period expired and then go to Macau for 1-2 days, return (have another 2-week visa free period) and spend, say another week, in HK and then go to Shenzen and return to HK to leave a week later?

- i don't think it is possible.
Russian passport holders are exempt from Hong Kong Visa for 14 days, so you can be visa-free in Hong Kong for 14 days.
but a Macau visa and a mainland China visa are required if you go to Macau and Shenzhen.
if you want to stay in Hong Kong longer than 14 days, i suggest you apply for a Hong Kong visa from the Chinese Embassy in your country before you go.Answered by Jimmy | Apr. 18, 2011 21:34
