  What is the best way from the airport to Beijing New Plaza Hotel?

  Hi, I am going to Beijing China (me and my sister age 56-64) from xingang port. we are coming off a cruise. My questions is --If we stay at the Beijing New Plaza Hotel what would be the best transport to take? and aprox. how much/ and how long. 2. Is the hotel in a safe part of town near thing to see, they say it's a 5 star hotel.Also if it cost 100rmb what is that in us dollars? Thanks so much for your help, you are a life saver.

• Should it be the Beijing News Plaza Hotel, located at 26, Jianguomen Nei Dajie? I think this hotel has good location (close to Wangfujing and Tiananmen) and facility. Very safe, so please take it easy.
  
  Since the Xingang Port is in Tianjin City. So, when you off the ship, you could hire a taxi driving to Tianjin Railway Station fisrtly. Here, you could catch a train to Beijing South Railway Station in 30minutes. Then, use a cab to reach the hotel.
  
  Alternatively, if you would like an easy trip, please rent a car in advance, which could drive you from the Xingang Port to the hotel directly. Of course, the fare is more expensive than the previous one.
