Question about China Tour Tips

  Could someone please recommend a number of "must see" places to go to China?

  Myself and 3 friends are planning on visiting China next year. We would like to see the The Great Wall and the Terracota Army but we are not sure what else to visit. Could someone please recommend a number of "must see" places to go to while we are there.
  
  We like good scenery and historical sites/buldings but would also like to see how modern day china is.
  
  Any help would be appreciated.

• Great Wall and Terracotta are only manmade scenery. I think you should add some natural scenes to see in your plan. Go to Guilin to see the beautiful mountain and river, and Jiuzhaigou in Sichuan Province is worth seeing. You will be marvel at its colorful waters. Also, Xinjiang is a nice choice.
  
  In beijing, you can also visit Forbidden City and taste local snacks.
