  do we need a transit visa to xiamen?

  We are flying from norway to manila philippines, and we bought an airline ticket that requires 2 stop over, amsterdam and xiamen. I was wondering as a filipino citizen me and my 11 year old son living legally here in norway together with my boyfriend a norwegian citizen,is travelling together to visit my homeland philippines, if we needed a transit visa for this/our trip to manila philippines when transitting/entering xiamen to wait for atleast maximum 6-7 hours to proceed to our next flight which is philippines.

• Hi Mary,
  since you stay in the Xiamen airport for only 6 - 7 hours, you don't need to apply the transit visa as long as you don't pass the control.
