questions about China Resident Visa application
I am a Canadian citizen having lived in China for almost 4 years. Besides living in China for 5 years, my understanding is that it is necessary to be married to a Chinese citizen for at least 5 years. Is that not correct? I do not understand the 6 month period. Is that the period during which you must present yourself at the PSB for the actual Visa to be inserted in your passport? Once a D visa is obtained, what is the period of its validity? How often must a person present themself for renewals? My expectation it to remain in China indefinitely (probably for life). Are there any age limitations, as there seem to be for a Z visa?
