  which is more convenient from Guangzhou to Hong Kong?

• Hi Susan,
  the easiest way I think is to take a bullet train from Guangzhou East Railway station to Shenzhen Railway Station (1 hour, CNY 80), pass the Luohu Custom (about 0.5 hours), and take a Hong Kong Metro to your destination.

• That is one way to do it. Easier, in my opinion, is simply to take it all the way to Hung Hom. More expensive, but easier. Travel time is about 2 h max, depending on the train stops. Comfortable. Fare from GZ last year (2011) was about 170 yuan. But it also depends on where you want to go in Hong Kong. if you want to stay in the north, stop at Shenzhen and walk across; if you are going to Kowloon or Hong Kong Island, then Hung Hom.
