Question about Guangzhou Baiyun International Airport

  Beware of taxi drivers!

  Do not buy taxi or sim card inside the airport!! They charge you 4 times the normal rate. There is a line outside the baggage claim to wait for an official taxi with the rate posted on the outside.
  
  When arriving at the airport hold on to your bags! People will take your bags and tell you the airport is closed. Do not listen to them! It is an international airport and it never closes. They turn off a few lights to save power but never close since airplanes land all night.
