Booked to stay at Airport Baiyun Int. Hotel 26 June.. Do I require a Visa?Asked by Alys Wicksteed (New Zealand) | Jun. 17, 2012 18:38Answer Question

- If the hotel is within the airport, I don't think you need any visa for a rest of 18 hours in the hotel. Even if the hotel is outside the airport transit area, you can apply for a 24-hou stay permit at the airport with your passport and the air ticket to Amsterdam on your arrival for your rest at the hotel.Answered by Bruce | Jun. 18, 2012 01:39
- Hi Alys, I am also wanting to do this.. did you have any luck with getting a 24 hour stay permit? Is it worth while?Answered by cath (Australia) | Jul. 08, 2012 02:27
