  How can I find out status for my application of HKID & HK passport?

  I have applied for a Hong Kong Permanent ID and Hong Kong passport in February 2012 at China Embassy in Vancouver. I was given to understand that it takes 6 to 8 weeks processing time plus delivery time (which I paid for express deliver). May I know how can I check on the status or if the documents were lo

• i saw a notice on the website of Hong Kong goverment that there is a heavy backlog of overseas applications of Hong Kong passport and ID, so it would take longer time to process. so collin, enquiry of application progress will only cause dalay to the processing, just wait patiently. you will be informed if your passport and Id are ready.
