Question about China Visa

you can apply the Chinese visa through the Chinese Consulate general in Osaka.
the requried documents are:
1. a compeleted filled out visa application form affixed with your recently taken photo (4cm×3cm)
2. your original passport and the copy of the personal information page.
3. an invitation letter from a company or citizen in China, or your tour schedule, air tickets, and voucher of hotel reservation in China.
4. copy of your passport page that has the permit of entering Japan as you are not a Japanese citizen.

it takes 4 -5 working days. and the visa fee is 15,000 Yen.

Thank you for your reply. However today I went to Chinese Consulate in Osaka and I was told that I can't apply for tourist VISA in Consulate, I have to do it through a travel agency. There are some around, so it is not so difficult to do if you have all documents with you, however it costs19 000 yen for USA citizen. You also don't have to go there you can do it by posting you documents to the agency.
