Question about China Visa

Will I be able to get L visa like before
I've read so many posts of how hard it became to get chinese visa and now i am starting to worry myself...
I've been living in Qingdao for almost 6 years and I've had countless number of L visas and F visas until now.
During the year 2011~2012 I've only had L visas which I was able to get 30 days everytime and extend 2 more times inside China.
In April I left China to renew my passport because my passport had too many chinese visa stamps and ran out of any pages, and came back with my new passport with L visa on 6/2
When my 30 days were almost up,
I tried to change my L -> 3 month F visa in Yantai but I failed, the reason being that I have a record of paying fine for not registering my place of stay which was in 2009 and has never been brought up again to me until now. (Also, it is my new passport but they still have all that record huh)
Therefore, I rushed to Qingdao exit-entry and this time I was able to extend my L visa as another L visa until 8/1.
However, for some reason the extension process took almost 2 weeks, which only took about a week before.
Now as my time is almost up again, I don't know if i will be able to receive a L visa again from outside China.
my life is here and i am so afraid to leave and not be able to come back.
Nobody can say for sure, but what do you think would happen? Any similar cases?
Can you give me any suggestions on what to do?
I'm holding a Canadian Passport and I was born in Korea.
no criminal record, no overstay,
but i have record of paying 500rmb fine for not registering place of stay at local police station in 2009Asked by DS (Canadian) | Jul. 17, 2012 16:53Answer Question

- i guess you failed to change your L visa to F visa is also because you did not visit China for business purpose.
do you have any relatives in Qingdao, or do you work?
because you need to provide a cogent reason for your visit, like visiting relatives, work or just toursim reason, then get the proof for these reasons, such as an invitation letter from relatives or a job offer.
if you have these documents, i think you probably will get the visa this time.Answered by Emily | Jul. 17, 2012 21:03
