What is the 50% alcohol duty applied to?
Hello, I understand that when you exceed the 1,500 ml limit you have to pay a 50% duty on your item/bottle But wine or whiskey prices vary significantly... Is the 50% tax applied to the value/price of the bottle? how do they guys at customs know how much you paid for the bottle?
thanks in advanceAsked by Gabriel | Oct. 16, 2012 12:59Answer Question
