  why did Ming drop He's voyages?

• by He's voyages do you mean Zheng He's voyages?
  the voyages were not dropped. Zheng He took 7 voyages in his life time and died on the ship on the way back from the 7th voyage. so the voyages stopped.

• The Ming dropped Zheng He's voyages because they were too expensive. Also Confucian officials said that merchants were becoming too wealthy and breaking one of the rules of Confucianism. Perhaps through this valuable information could have been leaking out of China.
