Children fares for train ticket
Hello,
I read what you say about children above, but it is slightly confusing.
I have a boy who is 1.2m - 1.5m,
1/ He will want a seat on the express train? What is the fare?
2/ He can share my adult berth on a sleeper, so what does he need to pay?
3/ If he wants his own berth on the sleeper, is there any discount?
What if my boy is less than 1.2m, what is the discount then for a seat on an express train or a sleeper berth?
Thanks,
Andy

- Hi Andy,
1. the fare of a seat for your boy is half of the adult hard seat ticket.
2. if he share your berth, the fare is still half of the hard seat ticket.
3. if he wants his own berth, the fare is adult sleeper ticket minus half of the hard seat ticket (about 70% of a full price sleeper ticket)
if your boy is less than 1.2m, he is free of charge, but then he does not have his own seat or sleeper berth.Answered by larry | Jan. 14, 2013 20:00 - Thanks Larry
Can some help translate this page about the official fare for children?
