Can a citizen from Philippines apply a chinese visa in Indonesia?
I am from Philippines. I am currently in Vietnam. My next destination is Indonesia. Is it possible for us to apply & obtain a Chinese visa in Indonesia? This will save time for us, if the Chinese consulate in Indonesia can grant a visa to us, since our next destination from Indonesia is Guangzhou - China.
For additional information, we already have used Chinese visas on my passport.Asked by Ricardo Jr Joseph (Philippines) | Jan. 30, 2013 00:34Answer Question

- Hi Joseph,
I found a regulation about your situation from the official website of the Chinese Visa Application Service Center in Indonesia:
"The third country (non-Indonesian) passport holder should provide the original and a copy of his or her KITAS (permanent residence in Indonesia). If the third country passport holder can’t provide the KITAS, please contact us for the information of required documents."
so i think you need to contact the center to make sure whether you can apply the Chinese visa in Indonesia. and here is the website: http://www.visaforchina.co.id/JKT_EN/Answered by Emily | Jan. 30, 2013 19:27
