- dual nationality is not accepted in China, so if you want to be a permanent resident in China, you have to give up your US citizenship.
Overseas Chinese coming to take care of parents aged over 60 can only apply for a one-year residence permit, but you can not work with the residence permit.
so if you want to work and live in China, you can only apply a work visa through the Chinese Embassy. Then you will be granted a temporary residence permit when you are in ChinaAnswered by Judy | Feb. 17, 2013 19:38
