  What is the limitation for musical instrument

  If I bring a full size cello inside a hard case weight total about 30 pound, base on your information I don't have to declare with Chinese custom, but what is the limitation before I have to pay extra. And do I have to pay the 10 percent tax regardless it's over or within the limitation, or is it only when it's over the limitation?
