  Can I bring a musical instrument into China without declaring it

  I have an Indian instrument I want to bring into China from U.S. It is only 6 inches by 14 inches by 23 inches and will be in my suit case. Do I have to pay duty on it and declare it when I fly to China? I am an American

• You can take your personal instrument into the country. You don't need to pay tax for it.
