Question about China Customs Declarations

  Ginseng Root

  From what I understand, it is restricted to bring in American Wild Ginseng to China. It is a singular very valuable root, in excess of 5,000 USD. Is there any way whatsoever to guarantee it through customs? Is a chinese citizen allowed to fly here to pick it up and take it through customs? Open to any ideas. Thanks.

• Anyone including Chinese people is forbidden to take the wild Ginseng into China. If you really need to take it, it is a must to apply for certain proof for quarantine through the Entry-Exit Inspection and Quarantine Burea of China.
