  China Visa for French Citizen Resident of Japan

  I'm planning on visiting friends in Shanghai. I live in Kyoto. What do I need to do to get my Chinese visa?

• You can apply for a tourist L type at the Embassy of PRC. You need to prepare these documents: your passport and the copy of its data page, the completed application form affixed with a recently-taken passport-style photo, your residence permit in Japan, and the invitation letter of your friends. Besides, the round trip air tickets, travel insurance in PRC and proof of your financial standing may be required, too.
