  GERMAN BIRTH CERTIFICATE FOR USE IN CHINA

  Hello, I currently reside in the USA but have a German birth certificate that I want to use in China for purposes of a deed title transfer of property in China from my mother to me. Is there a way to make this birth certificate legally useful in China? And, is there a way to certify/ authenticate this birth certificate from the US without going to Germany? Thanks

• You need to get it notarized by the China embassy in your country. If you don't want to go back for that, you can ask your friend or family member to help you make the authentication for you. Or you can find an agency to help you.
