  can chinese citizen get married outside china?

  I want to marry my chinese girlfriend. But the Chinese law seems too complicated for my situation to marry her. So I was thinking if we can get married in my own country and then bring the documents to China and legalized it in China. Is it possible to do so? Do I still have to get permission from Chinese Embassy in Indonesia to marry her?

• Yes, you can get married in your country, and you might need to get permission from Chinese Embassy in Indonesia to marry her. After you get married, if you want to use the marriage certificate in China, you should get it authenticated from the China embassy.
