Question about China Customs Declarations

  Could I take the items into China for personal use?

  I am a hobby photographer and bringing a laptop, two cameras, three lenses, six memory flash cards, thirty blank DVDs and two portable hard drives to back up my digital photos. Can the Customs deny any of these items brought in for my personal use? I plan to bring all of them back when I return.

• As far as I know, one foreigner can take only 1 camera into China for personal use. Memory cards are not allowed taken into China. You will take 30 DVDS!! I think this will also be a problem when go through the China customs.
