Question about Shanghai

  Is Suzhou a nice place to visit?

  Hi we will be in Shanghai for only two full days and have been told that Suzhou is a nice place to visit. Is it worth seeing or are there better places to visit as we are very intererested in more of ancient china.

  you are interested in ancient China?
  if so, Suzhou is a good place. since you have only two days in shanghai, you can spend a whole day in Suzhou and the other day in Shanghai.
  in Suzhou, you can go to the famous gardens like Humble Administrative Garden, Lion Grove Garden, Garden of Master of Nets, Hanshan Temple.
  in Shanghai, you can take a one-day trip to Zhujiajiao Water Town or Qibao Ancient Town, which are both ancient towns but a little bit far from the city, so it takes a full day;
  if you don't want to go that far, you can go to Yuyuan Garden, which is an ancient garden and located in the city center. for the rest of day, you can take a leisure stroll around the yuyuan garden and the Huangpu river and the Bund.
