Question about Guangzhou Baiyun International Airport

  Can I go out from the Guangzhou Airport during transit hours?

  hi, i will be travelling on the 12/11/2011 from Malaysia to Seoul. i have 4 hours of transit hours in between. can I go out from the airport within that period,do i required a visa? do I need to claim my luggages? thanks.

• hi,
  if you want to go out of the airport, you need to apply a Chinese visa in the Chinese Embassy in Malaysia before you go.
  my suggestion for you is to have a good rest in the airport. if you want to go out, you will spend 2 hours out of the four on the way, and only 2 hours' leisure time.
  plus, the Baiyun Airport is quite large, you may take a walk around the airport and the shops.
  you don't need to claim your luggages for international to international transfer.
