  What bus can I take from Beijing to Datong and then to Xian and what the cost is?

  My Wife and I and adult son will be in Beijing in Nov 2011. We will leave Beijing on Nov 8 to Xi'an. We think we would like to go through Datong and then to Xi'an. We would like to be in Xi'an by Nov 12. What bus would you take and what would be the cost

• From Beijing to Datong, You may take a bus from Beijing Liuliqiao Bus station or Zhaogongkou bus station. The ticket fare is around CNY80. Then from Datong to Xian, I advise you take a train. The train ticket is CNY223 for soft sleeper and CNY140 for hard sleeper.
