Residency Permit
I was issued a Z visa through the agency which hired me. I have since quit the company, and the school (for various reasons, but I was ultimately let out of my contract due to medical reasons). I have a residency permit, and my ACTUAL VISA expired in November (as all visas are temporary, and the Residency Permit replaces this, yes?). Now I am curious, since my company is ran by compulsive liars and cheats... Can they revoke my Residency Permit? I have been told by many Chinese that my Residency Permit cannot be revoked by my company, that it is issued until its expiration date, which is in July. Do I need to re-apply for all this? As well, all my original documents (TEFL, etc) are in America. I have copies, but the PRC doesn't accept them for this process. I have been hired on by another company already, but they don't handle "legal" foreign workers. So, there is no way to sign it over to my new employer. Can I simply just stay on my Residency Permit until it expires? What is the recommendation for my situation?
