  Possible to work with D visa

  hello,
  I'm swiss with a chinese wife, I live and work in China at the moment but have just a L visa.
  I'm considering getting a D visa, would that allow me to legally work in China?

• yes, you can work with a D visa.
  but it is usually hard to get a Chinese D visa.
