  Can he get a VISA G (transit) at Shanghai Pudong airport?

  A friend of mine who is a South Korea citizen will fly from Seoul --> Shanghai --> Tokyo--> Seoul.
  Can he get a VISA G (transit) at Shanghai Pudong airport and stay for max 48hours in Shanghai? Thanks!

• South Korean Passport holders are exempt from China visa if they are stay in Shanghai airport within 48 hours for transit.
  but your friend have to provide the air ticket for his next destination, as you said, the air ticket from Shanghai to Tokyo.
