  Is it safe to go around Tibet without tour?

  Hi, is it safe to go around tibet without following tour? Means i just hire a guide, and we go around with public transports. Where can i get info about local transportation systems ie. bus, taxi, etc. Thanks.

• Hi, foreigners are not allowed to travel in Tibet without following travel agency. You can find yourself an agency and travel in Tibet, they will arrange you for the transportation and hotel.
